25th A-CSEAR  Conference and Early Scholars Colloquium

HOST: A-CSEAR Location: The University of Sydney Business School, School of Accounting, Governance and Regulation

Marking 25 years of A-CSEAR scholarship, the 2026 conference, hosted by The University of Sydney Business School, will centre on Accounting and Accountability in Times of Polycrisis, inviting reflection on how accounting engages with interconnected ecological, social, political, and economic crises.

The conference welcomes critical and creative contributions that explore how accounting can both shape and respond to these crises, while also supporting more just, resilient, and caring futures. We encourage submissions across a wide range of perspective and approaches, including work on social justice, sustainability, digitalisation, and emerging forms of accountability. Contributions from early career researchers, practitioners, and activists are particularly encouraged.
