Join us online on April 11 at 15:00 (GMT) to discuss ‘Learning autonomy and SEA experiments’ as we will learn from the Sustainability Accounting Learning Platform for a Green Economy (Account4GreenEco) project with Nicolas Garcia-Torea. We will hear from Nicolas’ insights into developing the platform and program, as well as from enrolled students and practitioners to shed light on their experiences. After this multi-perspective overview, time will be available for an open discussion where you will have the chance to ask the panelists questions.
Nicolas Garcia-Torea is an associate professor of Accounting at the University of Burgos. He obtained his PhD from the University of Vigo. His research interests cover sustainability reporting regulation and standardization and the role of corporate governance in sustainable disclosure and management. He has published in international journals, such as Organization & Environment, Critical Perspectives on Accounting, Corporate Governance: and International Review, and Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal. He serves as the associate editor of the Spanish Journal of Finance and Accounting and article review editor of the Social and Environmental Accountability Journal. He has participated in projects funded at the EU, Spanish and regional levels, and at the moment, he coordinates the Erasmus+ Project “Sustainability Accounting Learning Platform for a Green Economy” (Account4GreenEco).
