We are delighted to announce that the 9th French Congress on Social and Environmental Accounting Research will take place on 2-3 June 2027 at Grenoble IAE-INP, Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA), France.
Organised by Tiphaine Jérôme and hosted by Grenoble IAE-INP, UGA and the Centre d’Études et de Recherches Appliquées à la Gestion (CERAG), the conference will continue the CSEAR tradition of providing an informal, engaging, and supportive forum for researchers, educators, students, and practitioners interested in social, environmental, and sustainability accounting.
CSEAR France continues to play an important role in supporting a vibrant community of social and environmental accounting researchers. As the French satellite office of CSEAR, it provides a platform for collaboration, visibility, and the exchange of ideas within this growing field.
Since its first conference in 2011, CSEAR France has hosted a series of successful events across leading institutions, bringing together researchers from around the world. Most recently, the 8th CSEAR France Conference took place in June 2025 in Paris, continuing this strong tradition of international engagement and knowledge sharing. These conferences have helped strengthen academic networks and have also contributed to the field through associated special issues in leading journals.
The conference aims to foster discussion, debate, and collaboration around sustainability-related research, policy, and practice, with a particular focus on issues relevant to France and the European Union. Participants from all career stages and disciplines are encouraged to attend.
Please save the date: 2-3 June 2027.
Further details, including the First Call for Papers, will be released in September 2026.
